Short-form video production in Los Angeles

Reels, TikToks, and Shorts, produced properly. One shooting day at your business turns into a month of vertical video, cut and captioned and ready to post.

Production only, if that is what you need

Most of our clients hand us the whole account. Some already have someone posting, someone writing, or an in-house marketer who just cannot produce enough video, and what they actually need is footage. This is that: the production half on its own.

You get finished, captioned, vertical pieces delivered ready to publish, plus the raw files if you want them. What you do with them afterwards is your business, and we are happy to leave it that way.

Vertical is a different craft, not a crop

The most common failure in short-form video is footage shot horizontally and cropped afterwards. It never quite works, because the framing decisions were made for a different shape. Faces sit wrong, the subject drifts out of the safe area, and on-screen text collides with the interface.

We shoot vertical from the first setup: composed for 9:16, framed for where the caption and the interface actually sit, and blocked so a person stays in frame while they move. Where a piece also needs a horizontal version for a website or a screen, we shoot that as its own setup rather than pretending one crop serves both.

What one shooting day produces

Three ways to shoot it

Native is filmed on the latest iPhone Pro with a gimbal, an LED panel, and wireless lav mics. Most pieces per day, fastest turnaround, and content that reads as native to the feed. Studio is a full-frame cinema camera with prime lenses, a lighting kit, and separately recorded audio, for anything that has to look like it costs what you charge. Aerial adds drone coverage for property, sites, venues, and events, with Los Angeles airspace cleared before the shoot date. Compare the packages.

Who this suits

Businesses with someone already running the account who need a reliable supply of video. In-house marketing teams that are out of production capacity. Agencies that need a local crew in Los Angeles. And businesses testing whether short-form works for them before committing to full account management.

Frequently asked questions

Can we hire you for production only, without account management?

Yes. You get finished, captioned, vertical pieces delivered ready to publish, plus the raw files if you want them, and you handle the posting. Plenty of clients have someone in-house who is simply out of production capacity.

How many videos does one shooting day produce?

It depends on the package and the business. The Native iPhone package produces the most per day because a small kit moves quickly through a space. A cinema camera day produces fewer, because lighting and setup take longer. We agree a target in the plan rather than promising a number that ignores the setup.

Why shoot vertical instead of cropping later?

Because the framing decisions differ. Footage shot horizontally and cropped never quite works: faces sit wrong, subjects drift out of the safe area, and on-screen text collides with the interface. We compose for 9:16 from the first setup, and shoot a separate horizontal setup when a piece genuinely needs both.

Do we own the footage?

Yes. You get the finished edits and keep the rights to use them anywhere, and raw files are available on request.

Do you add captions?

Yes, burned in. Most viewing starts muted, and platforms also read on-screen text as a discovery signal, so captions do double duty.

Can you shoot horizontal video too?

Yes, as its own setup, for websites, screens, or presentations. We do not crop one into the other and call it delivered.

Do you work with agencies and in-house teams?

Yes. Agencies that need a local crew in Los Angeles and in-house marketing teams out of production capacity are a normal part of the work. We can white-label the delivery if that is what you need.

Need the footage, not the whole account?

Tell us what you need shot and how much of it. You get a production plan and a written quote, usually within one business day.
