Social media agency in Downtown Los Angeles
Two clienteles in one square mile: the tower on Bunker Hill and the warehouse in the Arts District. They want opposite content and we shoot both.
Downtown is not one market
The Financial District and Bunker Hill run on credibility. Law firms, advisory practices, and corporate services whose customer arrives by referral and spends four minutes deciding whether you look like someone who handles this every week. Formal register, controlled light, conference rooms with a view.
The Arts District, the Fashion District, and the warehouse blocks east of Alameda run on the opposite instinct. Restaurants, bars, event spaces, galleries, and brands where the room is the product and roughness reads as authenticity rather than as sloppiness.
Running the same content playbook across both is the most common mistake we see here, and it fails in both directions: the firm looks unserious and the warehouse bar looks corporate.
Who we shoot here
- Law firms and professional services Bunker Hill and the Financial District. Question-led explainers and attorney brand. See law firms.
- Restaurants and bars The Arts District, Historic Core, and Grand Central Market orbit. Discovery-driven dining where one reel genuinely fills a Tuesday.
- Venues and event spaces Warehouses, rooftops, and lofts, where scale is the entire selling point and impossible to convey from inside.
- Fashion and retail brands Product, lookbook, and behind-the-scenes content out of the Fashion District and the studios around it.
- Developers and construction DTLA has more active large-scale construction than anywhere else in the county. Progress content shot from the same aerial position month after month becomes the best marketing asset a builder owns. See construction.
Rooftops, scale, and the drone question
Downtown is the strongest case in the county for the Aerial package and also the most constrained place to use it. A warehouse venue, a rooftop bar, a 40-storey construction site: none of these read from the ground, and one establishing aerial does in two seconds what a minute of handheld cannot.
Against that, DTLA is dense, tall, and busy, with heliport traffic, hospital helipads, and rooftop obstructions that matter for flight planning. We check the airspace class and the obstacle picture for your exact address, request authorization ahead of the date, and say plainly when a site cannot be flown safely or legally.
The weekday and weekend split
Downtown empties and refills on a schedule sharper than anywhere else in the city. The Financial District is dense Monday to Thursday and quiet by Friday evening. The Arts District is the reverse. This is not trivia, it decides when we shoot.
Corporate and professional shoots run midweek mornings while the building looks alive and parking is manageable. Hospitality and venue shoots run Thursday through Sunday when the room is full, which is the only time the footage is worth anything. For a business that spans both, we split the shooting day.
Which package fits
Studio for the professional services side, where production quality is read as a proxy for competence. Native for hospitality and retail, where volume and immediacy win and the phone genuinely looks right in the room. Aerial whenever the story involves a building, a rooftop, or a site.
Frequently asked questions
Do you shoot in the Arts District?
Regularly. Restaurants, bars, event spaces, galleries, and brands east of Alameda are a core part of our Downtown work. This side of DTLA rewards content that looks like the room actually looks, so it usually runs on the Native iPhone package with a camera day when a space needs to be shown properly.
Do you work with Downtown law firms?
Yes. Bunker Hill and the Financial District are a core market for us. The work is question-led explainers, attorney brand, and content built to pass your own compliance review before anything is scheduled. It runs on the Studio package, because production quality is read as a proxy for competence in that market.
Can you fly a drone in Downtown LA?
Often, and always only after clearing it. DTLA is dense and tall, with heliport traffic, hospital helipads, and rooftop obstructions that matter for flight planning. We check the airspace class and the obstacle picture for your exact address and request authorization ahead of the date. Where a site cannot be flown safely or legally, we say so.
When do you shoot Downtown?
It depends which Downtown. Corporate and professional shoots run midweek mornings while the building looks alive and parking is manageable. Hospitality and venue shoots run Thursday through Sunday when the room is full, which is the only time that footage is worth anything.
Do you cover construction and development sites in DTLA?
Yes. Downtown has more active large-scale construction than anywhere else in the county, and progress content shot from the same aerial position month after month becomes the best marketing asset a builder owns. That runs on the Aerial package with ground coverage on Native.
Is there a travel charge for Downtown?
No. Downtown is the center of our service radius, so there is no travel surcharge anywhere in DTLA.
